Lisa has led social wildfire research at Scion since 2003, working on case studies of communities affected by wildfires. Currently, Lisas research within Scion’s Extreme Wildfire research programme investigates how decisions made throughout the planning, design, and construction processes contribute to wildfire risk. Her research aims to identify key intervention points to reduce this risk and enhance community resilience.
